• Wash your hands or use Alcohol Gel before going in and leaving the room.
• If you’re sick or don’t feel good, health wise, avoid making any visits for the safety of the patient.
• Taking photos is forbidden in common areas (Intensive Care Unit, Operating Room and Emergency), without previous authorization.
• Do not bring food to patients. First consult with the physician or nurse in charge.
• Alcoholic beverages and cigars are forbidden for patients.
• For the safety of our patients and yours, don’t touch any medical equipment (IV’s, catheters, infusion pumps, wounds, etc.).
• We appreciate not being noisy by talking in a low tone of voice, putting cell phones and other devices in silence mode and not making noises with instruments, chairs, doors, etc.
• If your patient has a precaution or isolation sign at the door, please head to the nursing station for instructions.
